For fifty years, The 519 has been a place where community gathers, organizes, celebrates, and shows up for one another. It’s a place to imagine something better and work together to make it possible. Countless people have poured their time, love, rage, hope, and care into The 519. You can still feel it in every corner, in the stories held within the space, and in the energy that refuses to fade.
Our Annual Report hopes to capture these moments, big and small, of community magic.
The theme of this year’s annual report, Here to Stay, is more than a reflection on our impact in 2025. It is an affirmation of our resilience, and a commitment to our shared future. It is a reminder to our communities, our allies, and those who seek to diminish our rights, that we will continue to show up, adapt, and respond, regardless of circumstance.
The 519 has been, and will continue to be, a place where people gather, celebrate, grieve, rise, learn, hold each other accountable, and grow. We will continue to foster a space where everyone feels welcome and knows they’re here to stay.
