Dreaming the Future – An Invitation to our Communities to join us for our Annual General Meeting

The 519 invites all community members to join us for our 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place this Thursday, September 24.  Registration and dinner service from Fabarnak begins at 5:30 PM; the business meeting opens at 6:30 PM.

“This is a great opportunity for our communities to hear more about the work we are doing, and our hopes for the future,” says Maura Lawless, Executive Director

This year’s AGM includes special presentations from Fiona Crean, Toronto Ombudsman, and program staff at The 519 on their work in supporting LGBTQ newcomers and refugees

Current members of The 519 who reside in our catchment area (Gerrard/Bloor, Bay/Sherbourne) are eligible to vote for our 2015/2016 Board of Management candidates.
