Join us in Toronto on November 12th for an unforgettable event in honour of World AIDS Day, hosted by CANFAR & Gilead.
We’re calling on the community to help revive the iconic Red Ribbon, a powerful symbol of HIV awareness, remembrance, and hope.
Over the years, the Red Ribbon has faded from the spotlight, but we’re determined to bring it back stronger than ever—and we need your help to make it happen!
The current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ is 5,471 ribbons made in one hour.
Our goal? To make 7,540 Red Ribbons in just one hour! One for each person diagnosed with HIV in Canada but not yet on treatment.
Together, we’ll commemorate those we’ve lost to AIDS and celebrate the groundbreaking advancements in HIV prevention and treatment.
We’re looking to recruit at least 200 volunteers!
Highlights:
- Refreshments provided throughout the event.
A chance to earn community service hours (students, this is for you!)
Unite with friends, family, and colleagues for an afternoon of community, connection, and celebration. - Help us break a world record, raise awareness, and inspire a new generation of HIV/AIDS advocates. This is your chance to be part of history—don’t miss it!
Registration to the event is required. Sign up now and spread the word!
