This International Women’s Day, come celebrate at our IWD Building Takeover at The 519!

Calling all shes, theys, femmes, dykes, and the likes this International Women’s Day!

The 519 welcomes all to our IWD events, join us for the Toronto Queer Market, Family Fun Fest, and come back at night for a full building takeover.

Schedule of events:

  • Toronto Queer Market – 5:30 to 10 p.m.
  • Family Fun Fest – 6 to 8 p.m.
  • IWD Building Takeover – 8:30 p.m. – Midnight

Toronto Queer Market (all ages)

Come shop until you drop and support local queer and trans vendors.

  • 5:30 to 10 p.m.
  • The 519 (Room 106 and Glass Room Lobby)

Family Fun Fest (0-18 years old)

Hang out with your little kiddos with some activities, face painting and a dance party in our Lobby Lounge. Visit the KidzCandyCounter for your FREE sweet treats! Complete with signature mocktails for the kiddos and cocktails for the adults.

  • 6 to 8 p.m.
  • The 519 (Room 100 and Lobby Lounge)

IWD Building Takeover (19+ years old)

Some of your favourite sapphic artists and organizers take over The 519, for one night only.

Multiple bars will offer specialty cocktails, non-alcoholic delights, and mix drinks. Bringing a group? Pre-order bottle service (spirits or processco)! And stop by our concession stand for gourmet pizza by the slice and Canadian-made chips and Cheezies.
