It’s time for a lobby refresh!

 

Our lobby is the heart of The 519. For 50 years, hundreds of thousands of community members have come through our lobby to access programs, supports, and community-led groups. It’s time for a much-needed refresh. The lobby will be undergoing renovations this winter.

This project is part of our ongoing effort to improve accessibility and functionality across our building. The updated lobby will offer enhanced programming space on the first floor as well as additional meeting space.

Renovation Updates

November 25, 2025

Renovation is expected to begin mid-December 2025 and end March 2026. During this time:

  • All programs and services will continue.
  • The elevator, ramp, and washrooms will remain accessible.
  • You can expect some noise and brief disruptions during this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to enhance the space for you!

  • Any temporary adjustments that affect access to the building will be communicated in advance on our social media, website, via our monthly newsletter, and onsite signage.
