Get professional support and guidance as you prepare for your Immigration & Refugee Board (IRB) Hearing. Mock hearings are facilitated by trained immigration and refugee lawyers, law students from Pro Bono Students Canada, and The 519 staff.

• One claimant per session, by appointment only.
• 1-2 sessions per week, based on capacity.
• Sessions in English. Translation services may be arranged upon request (to be made in advance).
• Available virtually. If you need space and system access, The 519 can provide a room to attend the session.

Limited capacity. Please register at least 45 days before your hearing date. It is mandatory to include your hearing date when you fill out the form. We can’t accept applications without your hearing date.

To be eligible for this program:

• You must be a 2SLGBTQ+ refugee claimant.
• Must have received your Notice to Appear from the IRB or Refugee Appeal Division (RAD)
• Must have all documents and evidence to be relied on for your IRB hearing
