Toronto, Ontario: On June 20, community organizations, 2SLGBTQ+ advocates, and allies will gather at Queen’s Park to go ALL OUT and rally for 2 Spirit, queer, and trans rights, freedom, and justice.

  • What: All OUT: Rally for 2SLGBTQ+ Rights and Freedom
  • When: Friday, June 20
  • Time: 1 to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Queen’s Park South Lawn [111 Wellesley St. W.]

Why we’re rallying:

  • Despite decades of progress, 2SLGBTQ+ rights continue to be under threat, especially impacting those living at the intersection of multiple oppressions: racism, transphobia, and xenophobia. This rally is a call to protect what we’ve won and push for what we’re owed.
  • This rally comes at a critical time, as 2SLGBTQ+ communities across Canada and beyond face escalating threats to their safety, dignity, and fundamental rights. Together with our communities, allies, and 15+ partner organizations, we’re seeing a clear message: we will not back down. Hate has no home here.
  • The event will include speeches from community leaders and advocates and key calls to action.

The media is invited to join and amplify our call for support. Spokespersons will be available on the day of, or in advance by request. Email Media@The519.org.
