September 8: Seed Paper Making

Learn the process of making recycled paper and embed seeds to create unique, plantable paper. The paper will be used to decorate the Orange Shirt Day Community Event, you can pick it up after September 29 (more details to come on this).

September 15: Reflect on the land, Treaties, and your responsibility, and craft a personal Land Acknowledgement

Examine what Reconciliation means in practice, and draft a meaningful, individualized Land Acknowledgement.

September 22: Write your land reflections on seed paper and learn how to make it bloom

Bring your reflections full circle by inscribing your land commitments directly onto handmade seed paper, and make your intentions bloom. The paper will be used to decorate the Orange Shirt Day Community Event, you can pick it up after September 29 (more details to come on this).

Join us on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. onward for an afternoon of activities, panel discussions, storytelling, traditional foods, and an art gallery reflecting the ongoing legacy of Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
