Do you want to learn more about drag makeup from the incredible and talented Makayla Couture, who you may have seen on OutTV’s Call Me Mother?

Take three classes taught by Makayla, each exploring different makeup techniques. RSVP is required.

Signing up enters you into all three classes.

Classes take place on:

  • September 16, 2024 – 6pm to 8pm
  • September 23, 2024 – 6pm to 8pm
  • October 21, 2024 – 6pm to 8 pm

*This program only has space for 20 participants. Since spaces are so limited, please make sure you can come to all three classes if you take a spot in this program.

This program is free, and is open to people age 14 and older.

The class is taught by a drag queen, but the techniques you will learn can be applied to all types of drag art — kings and other gender performers welcome.

***YOU MUST BRING:

  • Three colours of liquid foundation. One that matches your skin tone, one that’s two shades lighter, and one that’s two shades darker.
  • Translucent powder
  • Black liquid eyeliner
  • Lipstick
  • Fine tooth eyebrow comb

WE’LL PROVIDE:

  • An eyeshadow palette by Melt
  • Eyebrow pencils by Kool
  • Eyeliner pencils by EEC (brown, olive, and gold)
  • Lipliner pencils by EEC (red-brown, purple, orange, and frosty pink)
  • Highlighter sticks by Ilia
  • Makeup sponges
  • Powder puffs
  • Disposable eyeshadow applicators
  • Makeup remover wipes
  • False eyelashes and eyelash glue
  • Glue sticks
  • Mirrors

*The makeup we’ll provide has been donated. It is unopened, and it’s yours to keep. Be conscious of any allergies you may have. Feel free to bring your own makeup as well.
