Project Unlock
Project Unlock is an exciting collaboration between The 519 and Scotiabank designed specifically to help LGBTQ+ newcomers build economic resilience in Canada. It is a unique program focused not only on helping you with job readiness but also on supporting your overall sense of wellness as you settle into your new home.
Despite bringing valuable skills and experience, many newcomers face barriers to employment that can impact their health and create uncertainty during an already challenging time. Project Unlock aims to bridge that gap, helping you access meaningful work opportunities while laying strong roots in your new community.
Through career development support, workshops, and personalized guidance, Project Unlock is here to help LGBTQ+ newcomers unlock their full potential and thrive in Canada.
