Mindfulness Meditation is an open community of meditation practitioners providing a welcoming space for all individuals who are interested in the practice of meditation.

The intention of Mindfulness Meditation is to cultivate peaceful living and wisdom by practicing non-judgment awareness in the present moment.

We invite you to join the regular meditation sitting groups virtually, via zoom.

The meditation sessions are drop-in, there is no cost to practice, and the group sustains itself through voluntary work.

Mindfulness Meditation meets every Sunday at 12:00 pm.

About the guides

Moustafa Abdelrahman teaches practical applications of mindfulness and how it can be integrated in our daily life. Moustafa is certified as an applied mindfulness meditation specialist from the University of Toronto. He has facilitated mindfulness workshops for different organizations including General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, and Daniels Spectrum. Moustafa founded a mindfulness program at Hard Candy Fitness, and leads a weekly meditation at The 519. Moustafa’s teachings integrate various eastern disciplines and is informed by scientific studies.

Rose Mina Munjee practices and teaches applied mindfulness meditation and contemplative practices to enhance daily living and support transformation. She integrates therapeutic and restorative yoga as well as craniosacral therapy in her work. Rose’s teaching style is influenced by an eclectic mix of Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with Therapeutics rooted in experiential Iyengar Yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, as well as Insight and Mindfulness Meditation in the tradition of Vipassana and Zen Buddhism. She has also studied neuroscience, history, ethics through the Applied Mindfulness Specialist Certification at the University of Toronto. Rose has taught in retreat, studio, educational, and corporate settings including Spiritfest Costa Rica, Bodhi Mindfulness retreat, Hard Candy, Octopus Garden, Yoga Lounge, Cavaluzzo Law, Bombardier, IBM, Fairview Community Services, Flemingdon Neighbourhood Services, The 519, YMCA, University of Toronto, Aga Khan Agency, Daniels Spectrum, and Woodbridge High School.
