Good to know:

Inviting 2SLGBTQ+ folks for a multi-day kung fu self-defence class. These practical sessions are based on Wing Chun kung-fu to be able to overcome larger opponents. A great way to build community and empowerment.

What to Expect: Classes will start with a guided multidisciplinary warm-up drawing from dance, and acrobatics, followed by strengthening and alignment of the body. The previous will prepare you to understand spatial awareness and will support you to throw and land a punch, a kick, and counter incoming offensive movements.  A great somatic practice to improve mental health, wellbeing, and confidence.

Note: There will be guided hand-to-hand contact with other participants during the class. Please wear clothing you are comfortable moving in.
