Get one-on-one support to better understand your finances and work toward your financial goals.

Financial situations can be complicated. You may be trying to manage expenses, build savings, deal with debt, understand credit, adjust to a change in income or simply figure out where to begin.

The 519’s free Financial Coaching and Counselling service provides personalized support to help you understand your current financial situation, identify your priorities and develop practical next steps.

What to Expect

Appointments are one-on-one and focused on the financial questions or goals that are most important to you.

During your appointment, we may:

  1. Talk about what brought you to the service.
  2. Review your current financial situation.
  3. Identify your immediate needs and longer-term goals.
  4. Discuss possible options and resources.
  5. Develop practical next steps together.

Depending on your needs, follow-up appointments may also be available.

Who Can Access the Service?

The service is designed primarily for 2SLGBTQ+ community members experiencing financial barriers or looking to strengthen their financial knowledge, confidence and stability.
