Community Art Therapy Group at The 519
Every Thursday | 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. | Glass Room Lobby
Join our ongoing drop-in Community Art Therapy Group where we encourage the power of creativity as a tool for self-expression, reflection, connection, and well-being.
Open to everyone, this space invites participants of all artistic abilities to explore a variety of creative materials through gentle, guided art invitations. No artistic experience is necessary. The focus is on the creative process, not the final product.
Each week features a different arts-based activity, and participants are also welcome to work on their own personal projects. Together, we’ll explore traditional art mediums such as oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic paint, and a variety of crafts.
Participation and sharing are always optional, and all art materials are provided. Light snacks, coffee, and tea will be available.
