Generations for Climate Justice

Generations for Climate Justice (GCJ) is a free program that connects 2SLGBTQ+ youth (ages 10 to 18) and 2SLGBTQ+ older adults (ages 50+) to build impactful intergenerational relationships and foster collaboration on climate justice projects.

Program Highlights:

  • Learn through advocacy, storytelling and community
  • Earn volunteer hours and references
  • Build relationships through the generations
  • Take part in a climate advocacy project

When: First and Third Tuesdays, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

This program is designed to evolve gradually over the course of a year, with a stronger emphasis on education, advocacy, storytelling and community building.

  • Emerging situations conversation circles
  • Special projects and activities that span both generations
