[MEDIA ADVISORY] Advocates to Unite Against the Repeal of Ontario’s Updated Health & Physical Education Curriculum

Across the province, Ontarians are united against the Government’s decision to repeal the updated Health & Physical Education Curriculum. The last-minute scrapping threatens the health and safety of Ontario’s children and youth and puts them at an increased risk of negative physical, mental and sexual health outcomes.

At a media event, a diverse group of advocates will discuss how this repeal ill-equips children and youth with the necessary tools they need to safely navigate the realities of our rapidly changing world. They will announce the next phase of advocacy against the repeal, and in favour of current and inclusive education, with the We Have Your Back campaign.

Participants in this press conference will be available for comment following the program.
