Crochet your own scarf with Chason Yeboah over a two-part workshop series presented by the AIDS/HIV Memorial Storytelling Project.
This workshop will happen on Wednesday, Jan 22, and Thursday, Jan 30 from 5 to 7:30 pm at The 519. RSVP is required.
Chason Yeboah (she/her) is a self-taught textile sculptor, doll maker, and storyteller. She explores the oscillation of ancestral ritual through reconstructed, (un)woven, and crocheted structures.
This program is for people impacted by HIV/AIDS. 2SQTBIPOC folks will be prioritized.
All crochet supplies will be provided. Presto tickets and snacks will be provided.
