New cookbook shares delicious meals from the Trans People of Colour Project

Contributors Yasmeen Persad and Angel Glady explain the initiative, and prepare two special recipes from their cultures.

One of the most important elements of a strong community is food - it can bring people together like nothing else. That was exactly the inspiration behind a new cookbook called 'Cooking with Trans People of Colour', and today, two contributors Yasmeed Persad and Angel Glady told us all about it. They're part of the Trans People of Colour Project (TPOC), which aims to foster affirming support, greater access to food security, and access to meaningful sexual health promotion information for racialized trans folks. Plus, in addition to sharing important information, they're also sharing recipes!
