6-8 weeks of arts-based programs focused on developing social justice skills and understanding, such as poster-making, animation, illustrations, movement and dance, drag performance, and using art as an organizing tool.

Beadwork and Painting Social Justice Workshops

In collaboration with BAM Collective Building Power will be providing a series of free workshops over 6 weeks focused on arts and social justice. Participants will engage with experienced artists and facilitators.

Below is an outline for the series:

  • May 23 – Beadwork workshop 
  • May 30 – Beadwork workshop
  • June 6 – Painting workshop 
  • June 13 – Painting workshop 
  • June 20 –  Mental Health session with Story Stick telling workshop    
  • June 27 – How to stand against racism, discrimination, and bias workshop
