Description:
A 12-session course for trans men and trans masculine
individuals considering parenting. This course explores the practical,
emotional, social, and legal issues relevant to trans men and their
loved ones considering parenthood, such as:
. Self-advocacy for transmasculine parents, particularly in health care
settings
. Transmasculine fertility, pregnancy, and birth
. Adoption
. Legal issues unique to trans parents
. Racism and anti-oppression work in family creation
. Tour of a labour and delivery unit at a local hospital
. Social evenings and opportunities for community building
